Prostitution base destroyed at Amenfi West– "juju" found

AMENFI WEST PROSTITUTION BASE AND STRUCTURES WERE DEMOLITED





The Chief Executive of Amenfi West Municipality, Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh, has led a taskforce to destroy numerous buildings that were being used by commercial sex workers in the Municipality as a base of operations and a gathering place for business.



The aforementioned efforts are being carried out in mining regions since some miners and residents of the impacted villages appear to be satisfied with the Nigerian-dominated industry.

In order to develop the Municipality, Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh led a team from the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC) made up of personnel from the Ghana Police Service, Immigration, National Security, and Fire service to break into and loot the buildings where the illegal activity takes place.



In the center of Asankrangwa, Aboi Nkwanta, and Wassa Dunkwa are the structures, which are primarily composed of plywood and polythene.

Condom packets were discovered after the buildings had been thoroughly searched. The "juju" discovered within the resident was what shocked everyone the most. "What are they using it for"  becomes a pertinent question in light of this.





Residents of the communities shared their excitement with Appiah Danquah of ok FM, stating that these foreigners' actions have caused their marriages to be on the edge of disintegrating and that they are unable to ensure a brighter future for their children.

SIM card registration will not be extended. Ursula Owusu

Communication minister, Ursula Owusu Ekuful The minister for communications and digitalization, Ursula Owusu, has stated that there will be no further extension of the deadline for sim card registration. She said this during a National Communications Authority forum in Kumasi. According to her, the sim card registration is very crucial because it will help lessen the prevalence of cyber crimes in the country. The exercise will make it possible to create a subscriber database with integrity to keep the customers safe from scams and fraud. She went on to urge all who have not yet linked their Ghana cards to the SIM cards to do so before the deadline.
